Wren House This is the homepage for the design and artwork of Lucinda Macy. It includes a gallery of work and descriptive text on the uses of her designs for wild life and in the home. It features the award winning bird house designs that have been being produced for over 20 years. These houses are a unique design that reflects many years of field use and offer birds their ideal nesting habitat, a hollow tree. They are designed with the proper dimensions, can be cleaned out and are treated for outdoor use with natural sealers.

The beauty of natural materials and artistic design also make the houses sought by collectors and are great atop kitchen cabinets or a fireplace mantle. They are a charming house warming or anniversary gift, even a wedding present! More can be learned about which kind of birds use these houses on your learning link.

Along with birdhouses, there are whimsical and imaginative houses for Gnome, Fairies ,Elves and wee folk to warm the heart and put a smile on the face. Adored by young and old alike, each piece being unique and special by the nature of the material used and the artistic expression it invokes. These houses are generally for indoor display, but if one is desired for an outdoor setting it can be special ordered. Garden Houses A variation of whimsical houses are the Waldorf inspired homes for children. These houses are carefully made for hours of gnome play and fairy play and may include furniture and other furnishings. They are made of beautiful natural hand gathered wood and treated with natural oil and beeswax. They are meant to stir the imagination and inspire by the beauty of design and natural materials.

And last but not least are Toad homes, meant for use in the garden. Toads are the gardeners best friend and such a wonderful alternative to chemical and toxic pesticides. One toad will eat thousands of bugs each month and take good care of all your gardens. The 'Learn' page has more details on creating a toad habitat and you can read more about toads on my toad blog.

All selling is done through my etsy shop, 'Willodel'. This shop will be featuring all houses, artwork or instructions which are currently available.

The materials used for the houses are all hand gathered windfall trees and recycled shakes and old wood. All sealers used are eco friendly.
