The award winning designs and concepts of Lucinda Claire Macy embrace a great love and respect for the natural world and seek to reflect the spirit and beauty of nature herself. Each piece is unique and handmade of natural materials, carefully hand gathered from windfall trees, limbs and seedpods. There are both functional houses for song birds and garden toads as well as whimsical houses for fairies and gnomes. The functional houses are designed with the right size hole and can be cleaned.

The instructional book shares the knowledge of 12 years of perfecting these designs with clear step by step instructions and many nice examples of houses and delightful artwork by the artist.

The examples of pet portraits reflect the artists skill with painting and originality in capturing the spirit of our devoted and loving four legged friends.
